SLPRB are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the Forester-I, Stenographer (Grade-III) , Forest Guards , Surveyor, Mahut, Carpenter, Driver posts of the Forest department, Assam. Applications have to be submitted on-line thru SLPRB internet site (www.slprbassam.in). Online functions was obtained from 25-05-2020 to 25-06-2020.

Selection process: 

There will be two test for selection the post:

1. Phase test one.

2. Phase test two.

Selection process for Forester-I and Forest Guards:

(I) Phase test one: Will be Physical Test (Male 26 KM and Female 16 KM walking within 4(four) hours.)

(II) Phase test two: Will be Written Test (There will be a separate question paper for Forester-I and Forest Guards.  

• General Mathematics. 
• English & Vernacular (Grammar & Comprehension & Composition) 
• Logical Reasoning and Aptitude 
• Assam's History, Geography, Polity & Economy 
• General awareness/General knowledge and Current affairs) 

Selection process for Stenographer (Grade-III):

(I) Phase test one: Will be the Written Test (A common question paper will be set for Stenographers and Forester-I, the details of which are mentioned above.)

(II) Phase test two: Will be the Practical test (Click Here to check Description of the Test)

Selection process for Surveyor, Mahut, Carpenter, Driver:

(I) Phase test one: Will be the Written Test. The test will be based on the given point below:-

• Elementary Arithmetic 
• Vernacular Language 
• Basic General Awareness/ General knowledge.

(II) Phase test two: Will be a Skill /Practical Test in respective field.
