COVID 19 Vaccine Registration:

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India has decided to vaccinate all the Indian citizens between 18 years to 44 years of age. The registration for vaccination against the Covid-19 disease for all above the age of 18 years now started on the Co-WIN portal, Aarogya Setu app & UMANG App.

The govt. of India announced all the citizens which is above 18 Years age group to register themself on the Aarogya-Setu, Co-WIN portal and UMANG App and schedule an appointment for vaccination.

Documents Need: For vaccinated, all the people have to possess anyone of the following documents -

Aadhaar card, Voter ID Card (EPIC), PAN card, Driving License, Passport, Pension Passbook, NPR Smart Card

Mobile No.: All people must have an active mobile no. to register their name for online vaccine registration. A number can only be used for a maximum of 4 people.

Is vaccination free or not all vaccination centres?

Currently the vaccine named Covaxin  Covishield is free at govt hospitals and charged at Rs/- 250 in private hospitals for citizens aged 45 years and above. This will be exist from May First and even those above the age of 45 years will have to pay at private facilities that cost fixed by the private hospital.

For people between 18 years to 44 years, the States will announce the policy relating to payment. 

Government of Assam announced that vaccination will offer it for free at government centres.
